In the cycling match for £SO a side between Rendi'iip and Sutherland, of Christchurch, on Tuesday, the first distance of three miles was won by Randrup in Omiu -Msec, He also won the mile by half a length, and consequently won the match. The third distance of five miles was not run. A Sydney cable states that the funeral of Kiernan was largely attended, and that guards lined the streets to pay a last tribute to the young champion swimmer.
