Australian Butter Exports.
WHY NEW ZEALAND LEADS, (ReceiTed July 14, 1.1 a.m.) SYDNEY, July 12. Statistics submit led to a Parliamentary Committee inquiring into the dairying industry, show that the batter exported from New South Wales last year was 20,550,<mim pounds, valued at £779,000, and from Victoria 34,385,(M>0 pounds, valued at over 2i.301.0uf1. The Assistant Government Dairy Expert attributed the higher prices obtained by New Zealand" butter to grading. Mew South Wales factories wltt the exception of one or two. were not so up-to-date as those in New Zealand.
