SOMETHING ABSOLUTELY UNIQUE*

We have received from Messrs Ambury Brothers, of this town, a portfolio containing ten pictures of New /j-'aUiwl nceacry in colour, from original water colour paintings by L. W. Wilson, Esq. This is tho first time that paintings of our scenery have thus Ijecn reproduced, and the portfolio contains some of the most delightful i|olour work we have ever seen. The pictures are as follows : Mitre Peak, Milford Sound ; Cathedral Peaks, Lake M-anapouri ; Otira Gorge, Mount Cook, the River Avon, Wangamii River, Manaiwatu Gorge Hmeinoa's Bath, Nihotupu Falls! near Auckland ; und a picturo of a pretty half-caste Maori girl. The work is so remarkably well done that it is almost imiwssible to tell that the pictures aro not original. Similar work has been Sold in Enffland for two guineas the portfolio but Messrs Ambury Brothers olTer the ten pictures, which may be seen both framed and untrained in their windows, including the portfolio, at tho wonderfully cheap price of 9a 6d, eight for'7s (id, or one shilling per picture. No more delightful present could bo obtained to send to friends abroad. As the supply is limited early application should be made, or disappointment may result.
