Copping, of Tho Tress literary staff, who leaves shortly to assume the position of editor of the Stratford Evening Post, was on Friday afternoon tho recipient of a presentation from the literary staffs of The Press, Truth, and Referee. The presentation, which consisted of a travelling "bag and umbrella, was made by Mr Danvers Humber, editor of the Referee, who referred to the good feeling which had existed her tween the members of tho literary staffs and Mr Copping, and wished him every success in his new position. Representatives of Tho Press sub-editorial mid reporting stalls apoke highly o[ Mr Copping as a. colleague and expressed regret that ho was severing his connection with the office. Mr Copping suitably acknowledged the gift.
