Anthems by the choir, speeches ami solos occupied most of the time, and at about 9 p.m. tea and coffee and the the usual tasty eatables were handed round. A pleasant itero of the evening wns a short speech by Mr (icorge linssett, of Wangnnui, on the best way to get the young men into the, churches. Miss \V. Xixon olliciated at the organ in her usual good style.
