The death is announced of Mr Joseph Paul Walker, at Sydney. The deceased, who was 08 years of age, married a daughter of' the late Mr Alexander Hlack, one of the pioneers of Auckland, and was for some years interested in I lie umber trade in tlie Northern Wairoa. Ik- resided in Auckland about 30 years ago.
