Three hundred of the Yaos trib s men, under British officiis, defea'ed a lorge force ot Somalis at Walwal on the 3rd, killing 30, and capturing 600 cimels atid 5000 sheep, The entmy repeatedly tried to rush a British square. Pursuit was found impossible. Colonel Cobbe on the slh5 l h surprised and dispersed n large pirty of the rest at Galkau, killing ten and capturing 1500 camels and 6000 sheep. There were no British casualties. The Mullah has retreated to Harradeget.
