WEST END SCHOOL.
The concert in aid o? the organ fund at the West Ead School was a very great success, the only dr&wbick being the smallness of the West Ead Hall, numbers being unable to get ia. The net p-oceeis amounted to £7 10s, a ?ery satisfactory result which would have b:en doubled in n larger building,
Mr Qilbar* - , Chairman of the Sohool Gonmittee, occupied the chair io a very effieant manner, and spoke in, high terms of praise of the manner in which Mrs Dowling and her st-ff had trained the childreo, whose work was espociai'y as omy ens )un« standard are taught there. Mrs Dowling has every reason to feal proud ot the wy !ho cMildrea behaved, and acquitted themee'ves.
