Definition of a hack.—A Hack ia a horse that has not won, at the time of nomination, a race of the value of LBO, or races of the collective value of L2OO, lino* the Ist of August, 1899. 2. The winner of any flat race, after th« declaration of weights, to carry a penalty of 71bs, and of every additional race Bibs extra in all handicap flat events. 3. Entries by telegram most give full particulars of the horse, and must be con» firmed in writing at the earliest postibla opportunity. 4. Owners, trainers, and other* entering and accepting horses for this meeting am notified that no entries or acceptances will be received unless accompanied by th* necessary amount in cash. 5. No entry will be received for any rao* except on this condition: That all disputes, claims, and objections arising out of the racing shall be decided by a majority of th* Stewards, and their decision shall be final 6. The Stewards reserve the alter the time or date for declaration of weight*, nominations, or acceptances. 7. The Handicapper may, if he thinks fit, re-handicap any horse winning a race aiUir the declaration of weights. All races to be run under " The New Zealand Rules of Racing."
