It must have baen very gratifying to tha members of the Opera Clu v > to find 1 such a large and appreciative audience! preaent at the second performance 011o 1 1 " Les Cloche?,' 1 which took place on Tnursday evening. The opera went, with a much batter swing than on the op-ning nighI', 1 ', and the various perf raters had greater confidence in theii abilities, with the rosutt that the audience were delighted with the p'ay. Mr Stoyle »nd Miss T ed weraagdn the life and soul of the pi<ct>, the former's bye play and dtncing being .even move amusing than on We ires diy, while tha latter gave an object le son to the other members of the club in the ari of amusing an aulience. The club is certainly to be congratulate ou its latest production, which would have done cred.t to oiiO of the larg. at centres in the cilouy. Pr-iise is du-3 to all who took part in tk# ope a, an ! especially to tha orchestra so ably ltd by Mr Cooke.
