LES CLOCHES DE CORNEVILLE.
To night the local Opera Club will snage Planquette's popu! r coaiic opera " La C osheg de Corueville," and the Theatre Royal should be occupied to i f s full capacity. A full dress rehearsal took place on Tuesday evening, and judging from the results of that, the audience to-night miy expect some agreeable surprises in the way of music, singing, dancing, pretty dresses, and intelligent acting. That the members of the Club have worked hard was ivideot-, and the leading parts being in very safe and competent hands, success is assured. Home exceedingly pretty effects have baen introduced, and aided by a large orchestra the opera should go well and giva great pleasure to those present. The chorus is a particularly strong one, while each member seems to take a more than usual interest in the business in hand. We hope to record a bumper house for the opening night.
