A letter from ti-e chief draughtsman with reference to tho su?ply-t>f data from his office was referred to the chairman. It was decided to jarant the Stratford borough leave to lay a pipe servica through sections 63 and 64, block 1, Ngaire, on conditions offered by th<? Council regarding supplying tho Board's tenants. Mr R. Price wrote re provisions in a new lease hwd bnen prepared. The Boird pissed a resolution modifying the canditions regarding cropping and destroying noxious weeds, brumbies, etc., during the currency of the present lewe. Mr R. Kirkpatrick wrote demanding compensation for improvements. The Board deciekd it could not entertain the claim, and to take action to recovi-r rent duo by him aud Captain Bniith, ; The ringflr'a report was considered. | It was decided to require Mr H. I Tho treasurer reported a bank tvl- | ance of £857. | Mr T. E. Coleman'* h'use of section 39, block 6, Ngairf, for 21 years, was renewed, as tho arbitration value of £24 a vear. Mr Jesse B irrow offered to take up the 21 year*' renewal of hi* lease at a reital of £23 for the 42 acres. The matter w*s referred to the ranger for report as to value. The following transfers were agreed to on tltfl u:ml conditions: -Twigg and Company to G, J. Wilr.y, section 35, block 10, Ngaire; W. Courtney to New Plymouth Sash aud Door Company, section 838, New Plymouth; W. Monkhouse to J. W. Burke, sub 2 of section 21, blick 11, Kaupo'ionui ; W. T. Steer to D. W. G.ay of section 12, block 11, Ngatinwrn. Two mortgages were agreed to. A sub-lease from G. P. Brooking to T. Webb of part section IC7, block 11, Ngaire, at, £75 a year, was approved on the usual condition?.
