Captain W. Jackson Barry, who can lav c'aim to an experience of 73 years in the colony, having left Kngiand at the age of ten ye»rs. went north last nivht on his way to Bothnia. Xotwithat<nding his advanced age and recent indisposition the Captain is full of life and vigour, and can reel off some very j interesting accounts of the early days of I New Plymouth.
