THE BELGIAN RIOTS.
SUFFRAGE AGITATION EXTENDING TO SWEDEN. PER PBBSS ASSOCIATION. Brusssem, April 15. The Liberals and Socialists in Belgium complain that the proportional representation conceded at leash elections conferred upon the Clerical party a disproportionate number of seats. Further rioting hug occurred at Namur, the palico being severely mauled.
The police and gendarmes used swords and bayonets, and many arrests were made.
The police at Brussels, during the recant outbreaks, fired 1000 cartridges. Schools are being utilised as barracks.
I The shrike is very general. International agents are urging the French miners to strike in sympathy. Stockholm, April 15. Swedish Socialist's have derided in favour of a general strike in support of universal suffrage.
