SPECIAL PKIZE FOR PIGS. The Secietary of tho Taranaki Agricultural Society has received the following letter from tlw Chairman of the Inglowood Uo-operative Bacon Curing Company:— n V Dear Sir, —I have much pleasuro in informing you that tho Directors of the , Inglewood Co-operativo Bacon Curing Company, Ltd., have decided, with the : permission of your Society, to offer the sum of £6 as prize money for pens of bacon pigs at your forthcoming Show , in November next, the Compiny stipulating that tho conditions of thn competition should be as follows : A fiist prize of <£;-j for the bast pen of three (3) bacon pigs exhibited, weights not to i-xceed about 1601bs nor be lees than 120, a second prize of £2, and third prize of ,£l, No first priz? unless two entries, no second prize unless four entries, no third prize unless five entries. All pigs entered to become the property of the Company at their advertised prices, and the Company to take delivery on the Show grounds.
