THEREAS the New Plymouth Borough . / Council propose to claim from the Taranaki County Council a one-third share of the cost of an expensive bridge over the Te Henui stream. COUjxTY RATEPAYERS will take notice that the following petition will be circulated throughout the County for signature:— We, the undersigned ratepayers of the Taranaki County, hereby ptotest against the erect'on of a costly bridee over the Te Henni river (as proposed by the New Plymouth Borough Council at an estimated cost of £3,44K) the Tiianaki County Council beine failed upon to contribute towards the cost thereof.
