PROPOSED PRESENTATION TO THE PREMIER.

A meeting was held bare this afternoon for the puiposs ef arranging some public recognition of the Premier's spirited action in despatching contingents to South Africa. There was a large attendance including Bishop Julius and a Dumber of prominent ciiicens, and tbe proceedings ware m> st •nthusiastic. Che general feeling *v»s that a presentation should be made tu Mr. Seddon from the whole of the colony before his departure for the Coronation ceremonies, and a resolution to this effect was carried unanimously, an influential committee being appointed to carry out tbe proposil.' The committee is now communicating with other centres.
