Open to all-comers, providing three canoes start, otherwise the first prize to be L 5; post entiy. About threequarters of a mile; to start at 4 p.m. 16. Tub Race: Open to all-comers First prize, LI ss: second, 10s; third, 7s—for six starters. First prize, LI ss; second, 10s—for four starters; post entry; to start at 4.15. 17. Tub Race: For boys under 17 years. First prize, LI; second, 10s for six starters, First prize, 15s; second, 5s - for four starters; post entry; to start at 4.30. Two crews to start or a no race. Three crews to stave or no second prize. All races to start punctually at advertised time. Any boit not at the starting point at the proper time shall be liable to disqualification for that event. Protests most be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes after the race. Each protest mast be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which Bam shall be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Committee. Entrance Fee 10 per cent, of the amount of first prize money offered for each event. Names, -Heights of competitors (including substitutes), and colonrs to be worn, most be lodged at the time of entry All post entries (to close on Bcgatta day at 12 noon) will be charged 5 per cent, on amount of first prize. Bookmakers will not be allowed to bet inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the order or postpone any or all of the events, and add anr regulations which in their opinion may be necessary. En'res for all Whaleboat Baces close with the Becreta'y at the Foresters' .Hall on THURSDAY, February 20th. st 8 p.m. Entries for the Swimming Handicap Race close at the same time and at the Fame place. Band in attendance. Special and delayed trains will be arranged to suit visitors. THE ANNUAL REGATTA DANCE Will be held in St. John's Hall on Begatta Night. Good music; supper provided. H.
