The final match between Victoria and Palmerston, the hrg'st aggregate scorers, was watohed by a large ctvwd of spectators, the suooessful players being rewarded with round after round i f applause. Darkness interrupted the game when the interest as to the result was at its highest tension. When/ hostilities oeased Victoria was leading by eleven, with six heads in. The two rinks are yet to be played. Palmereron wa<* weakened by having to play a substitute in the place of Drew. The game will be completed on Monday afternoon.
