Any boit not at the starting point at the proper time shall be liable to diequalifi-1 cation for that event. Protests must be in the hands of the Secretary in writing within 15 minutes after the face. Bach protest most be accompanied by a deposit of 10s, which sum shall be forfeited if the protest is not upheld by the Committee. , Entrance Fee 10 per cent, of the amount of first prize money offered for each event. Names, weights of competitors (including substitutes), and colours to be worn, must be lodged at the time of entry All post entries ito close on R-gattaday at 12 noon) will be charged 5 per cent, on amoant of first prus*. Bookmakers will not be allowed to bet inside the enclosure. The Committee reserve to themselves the right to alter the order or postpone any or all of the events, and add any regulations which in their opinion may be necessary. Entries for all Whaleboat Races close with the Secretary at the Foresters' Hall on THURSDAY, February 20tb, «t 8 p.m. Entries for the Swimming Handicap Race close at the game time and at the same place.

Band in attendance. Special and delayed trains will ba arranged to suit visitors. THE ANNUAL REGATTA DANCE Will be held in St. John's Hall on Eegatta Xight. Good music; supper provided. H.
