The revolutionary vessels Padilla, Darien, and GaUan attempted to force a landing at Sabins, in the Panama Bay. The Colombian Government vessels Lantara .and Chicuato, assisted by guns from Sasboveda, resisted them. | The Padilla attacked the Lintara at ! c'ose quarter?, burning and sinking her after tbe crew had deserted. The superintendent of the Panama Railway has cabled to New York that I three insurgent and two Government vessels were sunk. Governor Alban was killed during' the engagement.
