Thfs evening, at Tekeraka, a young , man named John Fletcher attempted to shoot Miss Howe Chow, eldest daughter of Mr. George Howe Obow, owner of the Tekaraka Hotel. Fletcher was on hprseback at the time, and we* "seized and disarmed.
