A BARQUE WRECKED.

The captain of the btrque Alexandra is reported to have stated, when he visited Oharlestown, that op the mom-, ing of the disaster ht imagined he was about thirty miles off Oape Foulwind, when what appeared to be a dense bank of foe appeared right ahead of the vessel. This turned out to be bush. He gave ins'rue ions to oHange the ship tound, but before it could be done be had run on the rocks. An examination showed the vessel was making' water so a rope was carried whore and bound round a tree and all succeeded in getting ashore by climbing rope. Tha crew camped on Xhfhiicb. [The vessel is practically a iiotil wreck. It is understood she is insured in Denmark, where she is owned. The Alexandra struck at 3 o'clock on Saturday morning while under full sail. The captain was on deck at the time. Having no knowledge of tbeir whereabouts thftCMw remained aboird till daylight, when they succeeded in reaching shore with the aii of an old miner named o<ven Rees< The vessel now lies high and dry.
