Received 7, 0.50 a.m. London, December 6, The Daily Chronicle states that Cardinal Moran has resigned in consequence <if bis being appointed rasident Prelate of Curia, and Monsigcor Kelly, the recently appoin*ed Coadjutor of the Archbishop of Sydney, has been jppointid the new Metropolitan. Eeceived 7, 0.56 a.m. Sydney, December 6. Cardinal Moran, interviewed, stated that there was no truth in the Daily Chronicle's statement.
