Rather a fiasco took place over the 'Frisco mail on Tuesday. The Takapuna did not wait for the mail so the Gairloch was chartered I to leave Onehunga shortly after midday on Tuesday afternoon. The Ngapuuhi was advertised to leave at i and did so connectting with the mail train on Wednesday morning.
