Tbe Grand Jury found "No Bill" against Marion Soott, charged with theft. BMn«y Harrison, alias Harry Hills, was found gui'ty of assnu ting • I girl, aged thirteen, at Upp«r Hut t, and wt>s sentenced to five year*' imprieoameat. Frederick Gorrie, alia* Mincbiev pleaded enilty to cattle stealing afc Wbi f em*n'a V»lley, and was remanded for the report of the Probation Offiaer. L>wis Najlor »nd Henry Biddle ware sentenced to 12 months' imprisonment for forging and uttering cheques, Tbe jury returned a verdict of ",guilty" with a recommendation to tnetoy, in the rase o* P«ul Chequelle, * seaman, with stabbing a a/.gro named McOobney.
