Monday, 4th Novembki. The Council met at 2.30 p.m. The Maori Lands Administration Act Amendment Bill was read a second time pro forma, and referred t6 the Native Affairs Committee. The State School Teachers Salaries Bill was passed through committee without amendment, read a third time and passed. The Local Bodies Loini Bill puiod its final stages. The Cook and Other Islands G >vernmem Bill was read a second time. The Council adjourned till 7.30 p.m.
