From the evidence taken it app arß that Tritt was a widower withihr.ej , son*, the eldest 14 years of tige, He 1 married his (second wife, who was a Miss Mcßeth, of Kir wee, at Oxford in January last. She confessed to her [ husband that he was not the father of her child. Before Mrs. Tritt's death [ she told neighbours that bruises on her body were caused by her husband beating her with a he ivy strap, and the two doctors who made a ppst mprtem examination agree that injuries which could have, been indicted in that way were the cause of death, The post mortem revealed extensive internal injuries.
