A representative meeting of temperatce workers f.nd members of the W.O.T.U. was held on Thursday evening at the residence of Mrs Allen Douglas, president of the Union, as a " leave-taking " of two of their oldest o-'AOvkeis, Mr and Mrs Oollis, sen., especially the litter, who has so long been associated with tha work for women and children, and was chiefly instrumental in establishing the I W.O.T.U. in this district.
