At the tallow auctions 1327 casks were offered and 38 sold at a nominal decline of sixpence. At the Antwerp wool sales 2353 bales of La Plata wool were offered and 12*21 sold. The few merinos offering were strongly competed for. Fine crossbreds were ten centimes and fins lambs' wool five centimes above the Jane sales; coarse crossbreds neglected and unchanged.
