«a» DAMAGE TO OROPB. FEB HUMS ASSOCIATION. \ Napjeb, October 24. Asa result of very severe frosts great | damage has betn done to the early spring crops in Hawke'e Bay. Potatoes in particular have suffered, in addition to the damage to vineyards, whilst stone fruits suffer considerably. It is estimated that the l<~u to growers is fully £SOOO. The eeteon promised so well that? great hopes had been built , op of a very profitable output.
