T sales, b buyers.S sellers. Investment shares continue dull, bnt in the I dredging market there has been a good deal | more life, the low prices at which many L good stocks now stand having induced a 5 disposition to invest. I

The returns from Otago have kept up well for the tim« of year, but the warm weather is now causing the Molrneux river to rite, and the gorge dredges are shutting down for the summer season. On the West Coast the returns show a marked improvement over previous good returns, and Factotum shares have seen a rise of 10s per share recently. Generally West Coast stock has been bettar inquired for than for a long time past, and most stocks are now saleable with a rising market. BUCKLA.ND AND SONS' WEEKLY AUCTION REPORT.
