WAITARA WEST NO. 11 ROAD BOARD.

Correspondence was read from tbe Lepporton Factory Company complsming of the state of the road adjoining factory, and from Ocean Accident Insurance Company re renewal of policy. Resolved, that the raid leading to tbe Lepperton factory be repaired, provided the company pay half cost of same. The clerk was instructed to arrange with the Ocean Accident Insurance Company re insuring the B)srd's employees. Mr Newberry waited on the Board, and asked that tbe rates of the Pennington road should be expended on that road, and not on the Waitara road, as decided laat meeting, Mr Brown gave notice of motion t.a rescind the resolution respec* iug the same. Mr H Qld osared a donation, if the rates of | ware expeuded on grading hill on that iroad, and it was resolved to accept sune, and do the work as soon as weather is favourable. Mr 0. T. Knuckey's tenders for gravelling at £$ 83 on Brown-road, £& on Makoetahi, and £5 6s on Dwon, per chain, were accepted ; also Mr B. tj'ch&rds' at 45 10-i per chain, Richmond-road; and £6 10s, Kelly; and Mr R. Hoskins, at £5 17s, for grubbing furze and blackberries on Accounts were p>s?ed for paymeut, and the Board rose.
