Kidd'ij store, in Main-street, Wiuton, and destroyed a business block, containing K dd's and Mc William's store?, Perry's Hotel and stables, Kennedy's (tobacconist), Lyon's (fancy goods), National Mortgage Go's store and office, Moore's Hall, butcher's shop and bakery, Cole's (saddler), Cameron's (photographer), Vernon's (fishmonger). The loss exceeds £IO,OOO. The insurances amount to £3940.

Napieb, September 24. The upstairs portion of the Albion Hotel was completely gutted by fire early this- morning. All the b wrders escaped unhurt, though they lost all their effects. The building, which is owned by Robjohn's ertate, is insured in the Standard for £I2OO. Ikin, the licensee, is covered by a polijy for £750 on furniture and stock in the Norwich Union.
