SYMPATHY OF THE KING, MORS DETAILS OF THE MISHAP. PUB PRESS ASSOCIATION. Received. 22, 5.4 p.m. London, September 21. The Cobra whs ooly transferred to the Admiralty on Tuesday. King Edward hes forwarded a message expressing his heart f> It sympathy with the relatives of the drowned men. The evidence taken at the inquest showed that tha Cobra was going dead < glow. Big seas were running, and 1 there were about ten fathoms depth of water where the shock was felt. She broke her back, buckled, and settled down amidships There was no time to properly launch the boats. The dinghy was s*ung overboard with the canvas coverirg intact, and was only reached by swimming, the twelve survivors ripping eff the covering. The 0 >bra's stem and stern met together in the air as she sank. The stern part 1 alone was seen to founder.
