A FISHERMAN DROWNED.
FIB PBBSB ASSOCIATION. Invkecaegill, Heptemb-r 9. It is reported that D. O. Scollay, a fishiariiAn&t Half Moon Bay, and a son of an old resident there, perished in a squall off Pitersou'a Inlet on Saturday. Hanning, mastar of the ketch Anna, ■Ming; the squall coming up, became apprehensive of Sco'lay's s.fety, he betng in an open sailing boat, laden with fish and ballaste I. Hanning made for the, boat, but the equa'l was too quick, And the bnat capsized and sink. No sign of the occupant was seen, although the Anna cruised about till dark', her sails being badly damiged. Scollay, who was married about two yeans ago, lewes a widow and one child, and a son by a former marriage, who is now a yottng man.
