CLAIM FOR GOODS DAMAGED AT SEA.
PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellinotos, August 29. A case in which Robert Martin claimed from Captain Evans, and the Shaw Sivill and Albion Company £SO for, damage done to goods, came before the ,S,M, to-day, It was explained that out of a cargo of 40 kegs of white lead shipped from home by the Ao'en, 19 were not delivered, though thy on the bill of folding, but were found gin ajsmashod and a'mo-t unrfcognisible form. The vessel had me! with $ hurricane after passing the Oape, and,had receive! severe buffe'ing. Plaintiff extended that th 1 damage resulted from bad storage which was not provide! for in the bill of loading. The case was dismissed.
