FIRES.

PBB PBESB ASSOCIATION. Wellington, August 29. Advice has been received that Stillwater Hotel, 19 miles from Greymouth, has been burned down. It was insured in the Phoenix for £IOOO. Wanoanui, August 29. Two fires occurred here, one at 9,30 last night, and the o'her at one o'clock this morning. The first was discovered in a shop in some rubbish under the counter aod extinguished in the incipient stage. The stock was insured for £IOO, and the shop for £l5O. Tbe other fire was in a private residence, the family narrowly escaping, and losing all the furniture, which was insured for £2OO, and the house for a like amount.
