A WARNING TO HORSE PROPRIETORS PER PRESS ASSOCIATION. Wellington, August 27. In the Supreme Court to-day, a case was heard in which John Gregory sued his employer, Peter McArdle for damages on account of injuries received through an accident caused when driving an alleged jibbing horse owned by defendant. The jury awarded plaintiff j893 12s. Stay of execution was granted for 14 days. |
