LIZZIE BELL FUND.
The committte appointed to administer the monies of the above fund met at Pibama on WedmsJay, August 21st. Present: Rev. A W. H. Compton (chairman), Me s's H. M. Gool, J. Lam'oie, A. McKeown and H. Wagstaff. Vat ion • fiesigns of tombstones ■Mid fencing were submit'ed by Me-srs T, A. Moyes (Haweta), W. F. Brooking (New Plymouth), Cummins and Christie (Opumke), and W. Mansfield (Wel'ington). After difqussiqn and ciMvfu! consideration as to the most appropriate form of the monument in ! general, and guided by several sugges-1 itions received from different sources, it was unanimously rrsolved that the Rov. Compton visit New Plymouth and arrange with Mr. Brooking for the completion of the work. The credit balance of the fund is about £llO. The probable cost of tombstonis and fencing will amouqt to about £SO. j
