A mau named Rtiph Wilson out hi* throat with a pocket knife at Kaiapoi last night, and was brought to the Christchurch Hospital, where : the wound was s*i'chtd. It is not ex- ' pected to result family. Abu*: 7 o'clock to-night a map was found in a concrete street horsetrough. The heal and Shoulders only were under water, but the man was dead. ..^#^l. ChrißtoHO«oh, August 11 | The man found drowned last eight has been identified as William K*nry James, groom for Mr. J, Wild, of Fapanui. How he c<me in the tank cannot be ascertained. He was a married man with a family.
