At a meeting of the Conciliation Beard this moraiog, members took e'rong exception to the Premier's remark?, wimely, that he thought there wai too much sitting, and that tbey wre riding ona thiDg to death, and theie ought to be more court and less board Members said the remarks were a positive insult to them'elvef, and threatened to rengn. The matter, however, wss held over until the return of Mr. Chapman, the chairman, from Wellington.
