ANNUAL MEETING. (Special to Daily News ) Palmerston Nohth, Ju'y 25. The annual meeting of the National Dairy Association was held to-d.iy, Mr. J. G. Harkr e's presiding. Tftero was a good attendance of members and the general public. The balance-sheet and report were adopted. At the New Zealand Farmer* Conference this afternoon, rulaa were pacsed, and a dweussion fullowed in reference to the attitude the Union had tnken up on the question of elections. D. Hyde, the poultry export. At the Conference this morning, Mr. Kirs Da (Dairy Commissioner) made favourable reference to the butter and I cheese exhibits at the dairy exhibition, | end especially ro the keeping qualities of the butter and cheese.
