Nicholls, seconded by Mr. G. H slett, Mr. B, H. Nicholls was duly elected Chairman. Mr. Cluk, 'he Board, was granted a week's leave of ab.enoe to go wi h his corp to Wellington. Ihe question of street lamps were i f', in the hands of Me'grg. Brown and A. C. N cholls, and the matt-r of drain p'pei were left with the Works Committee. In answer to a letter from tbe Dairy Association asking for a donation towards expenses of erecting an arch, tbe Bon d dee'ded not to contribute.
