Some time ago M<s. Marsh, a claimant in tie block, objected to.thi survey of blocks 6 and 7, and two informations weie sworn against her which wil be heard at ihe S.M. Court on Pi i lay. It appears that out of one block of 1921 feres 1166 are leisrd, bunging iu £136 8s 4d per annum. Of this Mis Marsh receives hir share. In addition she occupies land in another block, more, it is faid, than she iseuti led to, and also land to which she has no claim at a 1 Tn all there are some 43 claimants, and Mr. Fisher recoivrfd ordeis to p with the survoy fs these claimants had given notice that uokss the surwy to individuals) the lacd wai proceeded with they would petition Parliament for redress. Yesterday, Mr. Fisher, for tin Nat ve llservcs Trus'ee, proceeded with Mr. Ofcambeis to goon with the surv.y on block 4, Ngatiratiri. As fust as the pegs were put in Mts, Marsh kn'ck-d them out with on axe. On this being persisted in, in spito of Mr. Fisher threatening to cill assis'acce, the police, who had been left at some dis- ■ auce, were called in, when Mrs. Marsh let once wi'hdrew and allowed the survey to proceed wi'hont fuithir interruption. As no unlawful act was
