CLEVER CAPTURE BY AUSTRALIANS. IMPORTANT CAPTURE AT PARDEPLAATS. Received 2S, 4.53 p.m. London, April 27. Lieut. R«d, with twenty Australian Bushmen, stealthily surrounded and fired at close rdnge upon 42 Boers eouth-eaft of Commissie Drift, Olifant's rver, at dawn on Thursday. The Bue.n, including Commandant Schroler, immediatsly surrendered, with a maxim gun, a number of horses, mules, wagons, and much ammunition. Twelve Boers are reported killed elsewhere, twenty wounded, and fortyseven captured. General Kitchener, at Pirdoplaats, reports four Boers killed and 180 captured. Three thousand cittle, 6000; sheep, and many wagons were also captured. Lieu'. Beitty, Victorian, previously reported killed, was only wounded. GENERAL FRENCH RECUPERATES.
