THE Colonial Treasurer invites Tenders for £500,000 New Zealand Government 4 per cent Debentures, payable to Bearer, and o[ the face value of £loi'o, £SOO, £2OO and £IOO respectively, as may be desired. These Debentures are secured on the Public Revenues of the Colony, and are repayable on the Ist April. 11104, at the Treasury, Welling' on, New Zealand, or (if tliH tenderer so requests in liis ternler) »t the office of the Agent-General lor New Zealand in London.

Dividends represented by coupons attached to the debentures, wili be payable on the Ist April aud the Ist October in each year duiing the currency of the Loan, at the Cashiers Office, Treasury, Wellington, or at any branch of the Bank rf New Zealand in New Zealand, or (if lh« debentures are issued repayable in London) at the office of the Agent-General for New Zealand in London. At the option of the holder of any debenture issued repayable in New Zealand, and on application made in that behalf at the Treasury, Wellington, New ZeaUnd, he may at any time during its ourrercy have it endorsed payable, both a« to principal and interest, »t tho tffice of the Agent-General for New Zealand, London, or at any specified branch of the Bank of New Zealand in Australia, Provided that in the former case the endorsement shall not be le-s th*n three months and in the latter case not less thßn one month, before the due date of tlia next ensuing payment of interest. The first interest coupon will be payable on the Ist October, 1901, and will bo for a snm (i] u:il to six months' interest on the nominal amount of the Debeuture. Tenders may be for the who's or any part of the Loan, and must slate what amount of money will he piven for every flfiO of the Debentures tendered for. The nominal amount of Debentures tendered for must be written on the outside of the Tender. The number of persons to be elected for each district is as follows: Pukearulie, Tongaporntu, Mangorei, Hui rangi, Tarata, Huiroi, Ngariki Koad, Whangamamona, Hurfo'd Road, Tutaraimaka, Waihi, Ratapiko, Uruti. Tututawa, Tahora, Purgarehu, Matau, and Fohokura, each five person". The election to be held in the respective schoolhouses.
