ELECTION OF SCHOOL COMMITTEES. ANNUAL MEETING OF HOUSE-I HOLDERS. Annual Meeting of Householders for the election of School Committees will be held in tho several School Districts, at the places stated below, April 22nd at the hour of 7 p.m., for the purpose of electing duly nominated persons as Members of School Committees for the ensuing year, as provided by Section 5 of " The School , Committee's Election Act, 1891. [ The number of persons to be elected for each district is as follows: Pukearuhe, Tongaporatu, Mangorei, Huirangi, Tarata, Huiro*, Ngariki Hoad, Whangamamona, Hurfo'd Road, Tataraimaka, Waihi, Katapiko, Uiutl, Tututawa, Tahora, Purgarehu, Matau, and Pohokura, each five persons. The election to be held in the respective scboolhouees. Rowan Road, Mahoe, Opunake, Car ingtbn Road, Durham Road, Eltham Road, Oaonui, Rahotu, Okato, Frankley Road, Fitzroy, Bell Waitara, Tikcrangi, Urenni, Lepperton, Kaimata, Tariki Road, Midhirst, Salisbury Road, Stanley Road, Pembroke Koad, Toko, Ngaire, Bird Road, Oardiff, Kent Road, Oraata, Oakura, Kaiauai, Denbigh Road, Egmont Village, Huiakama, Waraa andOudley Road, each seven (7) persons. 'J he election to be held in the respective schoolhouses. Kent Road election to be held in the Lower Kent Road Schoolhouse; Bell, in the Bell Block Schoolhouse. New Plymouth, Inglewood, and Stratford each nine (3) persons. New Plymouth election to be held in the Town Hali, Mew Plymouth; Inglewood election to be held in the Schoolhouse, Inglewood. Stratford election to be held in the Schoolhouse, Stratford. NoMiNATioy of Candidates. Householders of the various School Dis tricts are hereby requested to send in to the Chairman of tho School Committee in their District the names of persons, being Resident Householders, nominated by tbem to serve on the Oommittes for the ensuing term. The nominations must be in writing signed by the proposer and candidate, and sent to the Chairman of the School Committee on or before MONDAY, April 15th, 1901, not er than 8 p.m. Nominations may also be made at the Meetings of Householders to be held on MONDAY, April 22nd, 1901.

The first meeting of each of the newly elected Committees for the appointment of Chairman is hereby convened at the above named places immediately after the elections. By order of the Board. P. S.
