The annual meeting of the New Plymouth Hockey Club was held in the Council Chambers on Thursday evening. That the garaeis beeoming popular was evidenced by the nAnber of new members present. Mr. Stanley Smith, who was ducted chairman, remarked on the very satisfactory position cf the Club, it having a credit btlance at the end of the first season spoko v. oil for * prospnrous future.
