PKK PIIBSS ASSOCIATION. r (Heceived 28, 10.27 a.m.) j Londos, March 28. | Th) Duke and Duch?sa of York ware greatly interested in the trial of the Brennan torpedo at the mouth of Valetta harbour. The Duchess operated the mechanism used in discharging the torpedo, by which a boat was destroyed two miles outside the harbour. A grotesque war carnival by the the British warships was a great success. Huge canvas models of an elephant, kangaroo dodo, crocodile, and dragon,illuminated from within, disported on the harbour, which tho fleet illuminated by m<>ans of their search and othw electric l'ghts.
